The Antec unit is a rebranded Seasonic Focus Gold unit. The Corsair TXM is significantly better than their CXM line, but still slightly below the Focus and Focus Plus. I'd go with the Focus Gold 750 or maybe the Focus Plus 650 depending on how much wattage you need and whether you want fully modular cables (that's the most noticeable thing you get with the Plus).

I'm trying to pick one out of these 4 power supplies in the image. About to go with the focus 750 because its cheaper and the last 2 towers I built in 2014 both had CXM's which gave me some trouble. Well one survived but the fan has not aged well.

3x Focus and a TX.M wich has a bit high fan RPM in idle

So basically almost the same unit, except for one.

I do have to question the need for 650/750w... A good 550w would be cheaper and should not cost more...

I would take a 550w with a good fan, but if you try to find one on google express (US) under $90 you will see what I'm up against. (I have mucho credit here) Now I see the evga supernova G3 and GQ are sold at the same price point. I'm guessing the Focus Plus is still preferred? Definitely concerned with the fan, I see some people are disappointed with the ones used in non-plus focus models

It's an RM650X.

Best & worst cases for your money in 2018 are:

Best Cases overall

I) Fractal Design Meshify C - Airflow and relatively quiet, best all around case

I) Phanteks Enthoo Pro M / Special Edition (white interior) - Airflow & full water cooling support

I) Fractal Define R6 - Silent with decent airflow

I) Be Quiet! DB 900 (Full Tower) - Airflow and silent

I) Fractal Design Meshify C mini (mATX)

I) Corsair 400C - Only use with low end components, no 1080 / TI

I) Phanteks 350X - Only use with low end components, no 1080 / TI

I) Fractal Design Focus G

Cases that may be worth your money

I) Thermaltake G21 - GPU and CPU cooling issues, modest tweaking
I) Silverstone RL06 / Pro - Mustard/Ketchup wires, Shitty cable management, Poor front radiator support, useless psu filter, stupid ssd layout
I) In Win 303

I) Coolermaster H500 no suffix - if 200mm fans are your thing

I) NZXT H700 non "i" version - Needs to come down in price to be worth it

I) Corsair Carbide 100R - Suitable for low end builds

The worst cases - Do Not Buy

I) NZXT S340/Elite, H500, H440 (everything except the H700) Reason: Poor airflow
I) Coolermaster Masterbox 5

Majority of cases on the market

RM650x, they don't have the 550w, nor a Whisper M nor a 650w RMxV2

I hear that the RMx will power off its fan and I'm not sure that will work well for this case. Its not ideal but I will need the psu to act as an exhaust fan

The FOCUS plus also has a fanless mode, you should be able to disable it IIRC
