Buy now or wait?

Hello folks. 

 

A quick run down on what's happening. I've finally realised that I won't be gaming again as I don't find in fun and I get bored extremely quickly when I do. I'm going to be using my PC now to edit photos, some video, watch media content as well recording audio.

 

I did have 2 R9 290s that I have decided to sell as they would be overkill for my new application. 

 

Right now, I have the cards up for sale and I'm looking into either a GTX 1050 Ti or a GTX 1060 or waiting for the next nVidia launches. Do you think it would be worth the wait or even to wait and get one of the mention cards when the new ones launch?

For video editing, a RX 580 or 570 would be better as 8gb of VRAM helps.

Would 6GB be sufficient enough? I won't be doing an awful lot of video editing

Yeah even 4gb should be good, a 570 4gb or 1060 will work fine

I'll have a look and see what I find. Might wait and see what nVidia announce before I make a decision
