only if your cpu is being maxed out , have you checked any of your usages?

CPU usage is always pretty low, even while running PUBG

So, I would just install both of them and they should just work

1080 would give you better fps than crossfire 580s

Yeah, I kind of figured it would but RX 580's dont sell for much in my area.

mmmm thats seems fake , are you with dual monitors? or minimizing game to look that? Cpu usage needs to be measured at the same time you are playing, it's not like gpu

If I were you I would sell that 580 for 200$ and buy a 1070ti/1080

Case: Corsair 760T  |  Psu: Evga  650w p2 | Cpu-Cooler : Noctua Nh-d15 | Cpu : 8600k  | Gpu: Gygabyte 1070 g1 | Ram: 2x8gb Gskill Trident-Z 3000mhz |  Mobo : Aorus GA-Z370 Gaming K3 | Storage : Ocz 120gb sata ssd , sandisk 480gb ssd , wd 1gb hdd | Keyboard : Corsair k95 rgb plat. | Mouse : Razer deathadder elite | Monitor: Dell s2417DG (1440p 165hz gsync) & a crappy hp 24' ips 1080p | Audio: Schiit stack + Akg k712pro + Blue yeti.

Crazyyyy dont play on ultra , never say fps on ultra thats high demanding 0 fps optimized

I had a rx480 and now a 1070 (had a rx 480 8gb + 2500k now a 1070+4790k oced) and I can run pubg at 1440p 80-120fps  on reddit they posted the best settings for pubg, and with that card i wont ultra anything

Better if you can buy a 1070ti than any 580 como , the ideal case that amd said is with 100% xfire compatibility it would have same performance as one 1080(1070ti) so I think even a 1070 will give you better gaming experience , you have a great cpu just need more power than a 580 (its like a 1060)

Best settings from reddit (I check everyday /r/pubbattlegrounds)

And for a 580 dont do more than this. (if you have a better gpu just up the screen scale)

Case: Corsair 760T  |  Psu: Evga  650w p2 | Cpu-Cooler : Noctua Nh-d15 | Cpu : 8600k  | Gpu: Gygabyte 1070 g1 | Ram: 2x8gb Gskill Trident-Z 3000mhz |  Mobo : Aorus GA-Z370 Gaming K3 | Storage : Ocz 120gb sata ssd , sandisk 480gb ssd , wd 1gb hdd | Keyboard : Corsair k95 rgb plat. | Mouse : Razer deathadder elite | Monitor: Dell s2417DG (1440p 165hz gsync) & a crappy hp 24' ips 1080p | Audio: Schiit stack + Akg k712pro + Blue yeti.

Well, this is what i was mainly looking at, a crossfired 580 is comparable to the 1080 (roughly 5 frames different). And it looks like the 1080 outperforms the 1070 ti if this video is accurate

Well I would bet my money that a 1070ti can bet any 580 sli rig, the same time that you need (or less) to tune a 580 sli you can spend in tuning your 1070ti  to be a 1080 full

I told you this because with my 480 was thinking the same but I just learn this year that the best hardware are not on numbers in a game like pubg fps , are in the full game experience , and that a sli would never do (you will have drawbacks on other games , or a lot of things if its for gaming for me its a no-no) a 1070ti/1080 will give you full 144hz/fps in any game that you are playing now, 0 tuning , 0 power issues , just plug and play...

If it were vega I would say buy a vega, Im not tied to brands , I bought a 480 when was at 260$ and sold it at 330$ more than 6 months later.(I think I have luck with computer deals , or just I research a lot , but bought my monitor (dell s2417dg) at 430 euros , now its at 470 xD , its like now the dell s2716dg its at 450$ on amazon.us I dont know why people are not buying that massively , 450$ for a 700$ msrp monitor)

Case: Corsair 760T  |  Psu: Evga  650w p2 | Cpu-Cooler : Noctua Nh-d15 | Cpu : 8600k  | Gpu: Gygabyte 1070 g1 | Ram: 2x8gb Gskill Trident-Z 3000mhz |  Mobo : Aorus GA-Z370 Gaming K3 | Storage : Ocz 120gb sata ssd , sandisk 480gb ssd , wd 1gb hdd | Keyboard : Corsair k95 rgb plat. | Mouse : Razer deathadder elite | Monitor: Dell s2417DG (1440p 165hz gsync) & a crappy hp 24' ips 1080p | Audio: Schiit stack + Akg k712pro + Blue yeti.
