Assuming you'll rebates. You can use Windows without activating it, you'll just get a watermark and less customisability. Or get a key from Reddit or Kinguin for ~$25.

Currently i am on a early 2013 macbook pro with a intel i5 2.6 ghz duo core with 8 gigs of ddr3 ram and intel HD Graphics 4000 integrated graphics and i am looking to upgrade, however my dad is paranoid that if i get a windows pc the hackmen will come into our lan so i have to save up and buy one myself so i am on a very tight budget and could use some help choosing parts, so if anybody knows parts to build a vr ready system that i can game on and edit some videos using davinci resolve 15 that would be great because i dont know too much about computer hardware
