Do you mean from the current selection? So the budget is at about $2000?

If so, for starters I would begin with CPU/Motherboard. Second gen Ryzen with X470 motherboard.

A 1070 Ti to give you much better performance.

A better case. If you want NZXT, then either H500 or H700.

Vengance RGB memory for extra speed due to the RGB>.>

i'm not going to tell you exact parts, as only you know best, but this should give you a rough idea on upgrades.

I would wait for the new Nvidia line up and maybe grab the new verison of the 1070 (1170/2070 or whatever they gonna call it) or 1070Ti and oc the shit out of it and maybe a 2700x on a 470 mobo o.ô

No... just no.

Obviously used intel chips offer much greater value than AMD chips, and intel can actually get further than 4.3Ghz on liquid *cough* ryzen *cough*

ewww, consumer grade. I only have ever used intel (and one AMD from my first build, eww) chipsets that have soldered cpus. I've had amd fx, x58, x79, and x99.

you know that things tend to change?

I wouldn't react that way if i haven't tried it.

Wot? Sure, the 8700k is much faster than my 5820k, but the advantage of having a soldered IHS for every CPU on the platform allows for much better upgradability in the future. I plan on waiting for some 10 core cpus to drop in price :D

Wait for new cards to drop and get a 1080ti or 1180, either should be around $500. IDK about the other $500.

Then consider the upgrades I suggested. But yes, as mentioned above, wait for the GPU.

Actually, that other $500 would be good for a cpu upgrade. I'd get the 2700x and wait to see if the new boards are worth it for you, just be sure to update your bios before using a new cpu.
