Pc hickup when in games

Hello.

 

When i play games (ex: csgo, gw2. dcs) i keep on having a micro freeze and then it shows me my desktop bore returning me to the game(unless the game crashes).

It does it about every hour. Afaik it started happening after the Win 10 Creators update.

 

Anyone have experienced something simular or have any tips?

 

Specs:

CPU: intel 4770k @4.0 ghz

Ram: Corsair 2x 16 gig 1600 hz and Hyperx red 2x16 gig @ 1600 hz

Gpu: 2x Gtx Titans

Psu: Corsair RM 1000W 

HDD/SSD: Intel 180 gig ssd(boot) and seagate 2tb hdd(library)

Sounds like it's somehow showing you previewmode. Try running games in fullscreen mode.

Im running csgo and gw2 in fullscreen. Dcs world crashes every time it does the hickup. Is there another setting in windows that has something to do with it?

Not sure. If you haven't turned off Windows DVR and the Windows Gayba...I mean Gamebar. Turn those off.

 

Is it some sort of OEM system or self-built? Could be some bloatware.

It's self built. Have dubblechecked the Windows Ga**/dvr now and will see.

Try running games from SSD. Also, does browsing HDD cause it to load slowly? Could be bad HDD.

Just reinstalled the drivers from invidia and went with a 2017 driver. It stopped freezing but still has small lagg spikes.
