SLI Question

Hey I have currently a Strix gtx 1080Ti, but I also have an extra Evga Gtx 1080Ti FTW3 Card would I be able to SLI them both together without issues? I was always under the impression that to SLI cards they had to be the exact same model? Is this True?

I have 8700K in Z370 Asus Maximus X-Formula with 32gb Ram 3200mbz.

Will work!

The have to be the same moddels but not the same Brand/cooler/Bord desing.

 

Oh and pretty badas system you got goint on there!

Nono there is only the nvidea driver when you have it (make sure its up to date) youre fine. plug em in and connect the SLI bridge and start her up. Then you can enable SLI in the Nvidea control pannel

Think there may be a slight bridge difference. Prolly could still fit a hb just fine though.
