Recently I upgraded my motherboard, cpu and ram. Before the upgrade my pc was working flawlessly with an old i5, 16gb of standard ram and an acer motherboard. I upgraded to an i7-6700k, an ASUS Z170-P and 16gb of Cruciall ballistix sport. Ever since then I have been getting a BSOD. It is completely random, sometimes I'll get them 4 times a day and other times I'll go weeks without seeing one.

The screen says: "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you. For more information about this issue and possible fixes, visithttps://www.windows.com/stopcode"

The stop code is: WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR

I have done some research and many people seem to have had a similar problem with the 6700k. They all turned out to have a faulty CPU. I am worried that I may have just put the pc together incorrectly and it's nothing to do with a hardware problem. I'm really not sure what to do. I have taken my system to a pc repair shop and they had no idea what was causing the error either. I have never overclocked. Could it be the motherboard? Any advice or assistance is appreciated. I bought the CPU and motherboard from Amazon.
