Is this a good overclock?

Im new to this stuff so im not sure, gets 160 fps in fortnite settings on highest except shadows which is off run 1360 x 768 res

you can push whatever works, when you have good coling there is no problem of pushing until you get BSOD

Got people hitting 180fps with a 1070 on fortnite 1080p and I hit 120 avg with my 1070 @ 1440p 

 

Highest settings are not worth it, I use on all games Textures : high rest medium.(well depends of the base fps but thats my norm)

Maybe should of invested on a better monitor first rather then a 1080, low resolutions becomes more cpu dependant meaning your gpu isnt going to work as hard

Let's just say that it's a really weird combination. The card doesn't make sense for the monitor/resolution you are using. 

If you're happy with it, then that is all that matters right?

 

As for the OC, you might want to play around with lowering fan speed and power till the limit of you running a stable setup. 

 

ps I am assuming you're a gamer that is overclocking, not some other thing

yes i am a gamer, the thing was i bought everything for the pc then ran out of money for a monitor thats why its so bad
