Best pc for under 1100$?

Hi there im building a pc for a friend and i have this so far and i'm open to any suggestions as to better price to performance.

a few things to keep in mind are the 1100$ budget and he would like to stick with the black and red color scheme

I would really only go for intel over amd on a budget right now if you need it for 144hz monitor or for applications like cemu or dolphin in emulation.

Freesync, in case he doesn't have a monitor. And the colour scheme.

 

But if he does have a existing non-freesync monitor and doesn't care about the colour scheme as much as I though then yes, do go for the 1080.
