Im Buying a GPU urgent help

i found here on our town selling his 2nd hand GPU for 169$ "Gigabyte GTX 960 G1 Gaming 4GB" is this worth to buy it? and i negotiate with him, i ask him if he wants to downgrade and he aggree im giving my "Sapphire r7 260x 2gb GDDR5" + 122$, should i go and take the offer?, please i need help first time to buy a 2nd hand GPU

no. GTX 960 is about as fast as current gen 1050ti, which cost about $150 brand new.

 

unless that $ is CAD

Don't pay more than $100 usd for a 960 4gb

Fanboys are the worst thing to happen to the tech community World. Chief among them are Apple fanboys.

That's pushing the limit a bit, but a much better deal than the 960. 

 

Not an outstanding deal, but a fair one. If you can't find any better that's not bad at all

If you can find a 290x for less or the same it would be a better buy than the 970 due to the 970 practically only has 3.5GB of Vram, meanwhile the 290x has 4GB.

If you cant find it. Look for the 390x. If you cant find that, then the 970 should be fine.

Yeah that won't be an issue. That's a solid psu and you'll have plenty of overhead still

But the gtx cards not worth 150 plus your card it's maybe worth 150 period.

You shouldn't of asked to trade cards plus that much cash. I would take that deal too cuz he can sell your card too and really get a good deal.
