Hey guys, I'm planning on upgrading my Gaming Desktop PC and I've done my research but I'm posting this here to see if you guys have any recommendations such as waiting for a new soon to release product or maybe different components.

My current build:

CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 3.4GHz 4x Core

MOBO: ASUS H97-PLUS ATX

RAM: 3x Kingston Hyper X Fury 4GB DDR3

PSU: Silverstone Strider Essentials 700W ST70F-ESB Bronze

GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1080

Drives: M.2 SSD and 3x SATA (One SSHD for main storage the others are 5400rpm drives for backups)

Wanting to upgrade to:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600

MOBO: ASUS ROG Strix B350-f

RAM: 2x Kingston Hyper X Fury 8GB DDR4

and I'm keeping the PSU, GPU and drives.

I'm located in Australia and the cheapest I found the parts is:

Ryzen 5 2600: $235AUD (174.23USD, 226.81CA)

ROG Strix B350-f: $147AUD (108.98USD, 141.88CA)

Hyper X Fury: $255AUD (189.05USD, 246.11CA)

(1AUD=0.97CA=0.75USD)

As I said above any suggestions are appreciated and my budget I'd prefer to keep under $700AUD/520USD/680CA.  I like to play Battlefield so specs for that are best and I use a 1080p, 144Hz screen.  And as the forum guide recommends, I'm upgrading because I do believe my specs are quite underpowered for the GTX 1080 and I'm bottlenecking from the CPU.  I also want a board with a S/PDIF port for my sound bar unless you guys know a good cheap sound card with one.

The ASrock Pro4 is probably the best budget board. Would suggest B450 or X470 but your prices on the part picker appear insane. The bios is probably updated by now

get the fastest memory you can for the lowest price

Yeah I saw that and was thinking about getting the B450-F version of the Strix but I can only seem to find the B450-I version here (Do note my new edit to the end of the post)
