Wife and I played it for about a year... personally I like GW1 more for the PvP experience but GW2 is definitely a lot more stress free (since there's no monthly fee, you don't feel the need to power level as much). Constant updates of content/scenario/events from the developers so if you enjoy PvE with groups of friends (or even solo) then it isnt so bad.

 

There's some pros/cons to the game but others can chime in if they've played.
