At the moment I have the Sennheiser CX 3.00 and I am looking for an upgrade in sound quality, without going over 100€.

I use them every day at work or on the train, at home I have a pair of good Sennheiser headphones so I don't use my earbuds there.

I want clear sound, without it being bass heavy... A balanced sound would be preferable, but I am open to suggestions.

I have my eyes on some options already:

I was going to go for the Sennheiser but I heard that they are very fragile, and since I use my current ones every day, carry them in my bag (without case), etc... I would like something more resistant (keep in mind the ones I have right now have given me no problems despite my way of handling them).

Again if you have anymore sugestions besides the 3 options above please tell me, just keep in mind my price limit is 100€. :)

If you need anymore information just tell me!

I had m fair bit of trouble lookinf for earbuds and ended up doing a knee jerk buy.
Since you can not try them on i can only talk about 1 pair, the one i have: Hifiman RE400 (also sub $100)

The feel decently balance considering mids an lows but have a huge fall of in the treble.

Depending on what you are used to this can be deemd severe or mild. I am used to Beyerdynamic so this was a bit frustrating. Additionally i get really sweat ear canals so they ended up being uncomfortable.

I heard those 2 but only very shortly. The only model i could have test listen on. They had a little to much bass for my taste. It coloured mids with for example adele. It was not bloated but I did not like them enought to jump the gun. Come with a bunch of accessories and i liked the flat cable etc. Would probably recommend for 60 pounds from my subjective position.

Hmmm and between the Hifiman and the Beyerdynamic which one would you recommend?
