great stream cpu?

would the Phenom 6 core cpu's perform well when streaming games. since they have 6 cores and arent that bad considdering them vs i5 2500k. i wont stream very demanding games.

I would look more into trying to get a locked i7 2600 for streaming to be fair.

No, I would not consider these. To be honest, the i5 2500K won't do to great in streaming either, but probably better than those Phenoms. What is your budget?

Probably would struggle since the Phenoms don't have great single core performance which games need.

The better option is looking into the cheapest possible i7's -they have 4 cores and hyperthreading.

I would try read into the fine print for the 20 euro CPU and Mobo combo, something very well could be broken for that cheap. 

 

a 6 core phenom is a pretty alright chip, but the IPC would kick you in the butt.

Even with an OC the single core performance isn't great on Phenoms.

The i7 2600/ 2600K fits in the same mobo as the i5 2500K, and oc'ing might help in games (IPC is still terrible), but I doubt it will help in streaming. You are better off saving for that i7, because otherwise you will probably have a bad experience streaming.

Try and look for an i7 3770, it fit's in the same socket as the 2600 but you do get a slight bump in performance compared.

They both fit in the same boards. I would get the cheaper of the two. They are quite comparable performance wise.

Gen 2 , Soldered IHS, Amazing Overclockers (if going for a K) Ivy vs Sandy Bridge IPC isn't very big from what i remember, and you are still getting a really good chip. 

 

I ran a i5 2320 for a while, which had the soldered IHS on the stock cooler and it ran nice and silent

I wonder why too, cause im sure intel has lost customers just due to non soldering of IHS anymore, maybe it was an idea to maximise profits. But it's annoying 

 

also Gen 2 will make Motherboard shopping Easier without the anxiety over updated Bios

Don't. Get an i7 3770 like others said and fix the pin.

If that's all that's wrong with it then you should keep it and upgrade to an i7 4770K or 4790K if you don't already have either.

Yeah but the i7 on this socket costs 100+ euro while if I sell the mobo I only need 20 to buy the i7 and mono lga 1155
