cloning a hard drive

if I clone my hard drive will I be able to open my games (non steam) without running the setup again once I rename it to the letter they was originally installed on

If you clone your hard drive, then nothing will change.

You start changing things post clone, then all bets are off

Yes, indeed by cloning the drive the games will be recognized perfectly
