I bought a r7 240 for my dad's pc (his graphics card died and he needed a new one). Got it for 80$ at my nearest computer store, 2 GB of memory. It's still pretty good today.

You won't get much done with a GT 730 (I've had a GT 710 before, I would know) but it's an okay card for that price, I suppose. Look into AMD stuff if you can, it's probably better price-to-performance.

Yep, like I said a r7 240 is a good choice for a budget graphics card.

for what? GT 730 GDDR5 (and R7 240) is fine for old games and as a display adapter (for more monitors), but not new games without turning graphics into painting quality.

'Good' is a relative term

Linus doesnt like (to put it mildly) it.

Luke doesnt like the GT730 either

If you are not going to play new games and you're going to use it just to display stuff on your ol' monitor, you'll be fine. I played a little bit of Battlefield 3 with that card (I don't remember, probably medium or low settings) and it was pretty enjoyable, all things considered.

actually it doesn't suck. My dad is still using today that graphics card today and he never complained about performance. Of course, he doesn't play games.

might as well get even cheaper (and older, slower blah blah blah)cards like the Geforce 210 or HD3450, if all he needs are display outputs

yeah, Fortnite is not that demanding and can be played even with low-end graphics cards. In my opinion, the r7 240 would be fine for that game.

If you are going to buy it don't expect to run Fallout 76 ultra settings ?

My dad is a dentist and he needs some graphics horsepower to display 3d models and stuff and that card is just fine.

The r7 240 is much better and you only have to add a 20$ note to your budget.

Th final decision though, it's up to you.

i cant get the r7 because first in my state i dont have any like shops with pc hardwere and the site that im looking on there is no r7
