Go to solution Solved by Mira Yurizaki,

A Surface Book without a GPU needs 33W, according to https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/surface/forum/surfbook2-surfperf/charging-via-usb-c-a-surface-book-2-135inch-with/56748621-7acd-4031-bdcc-d61a20beef9a

Make sure to get a charger from a reputable brand.

Hi I recently got the new surface book 2 (without 1050) and I want to charge through the type-C port but don't know what things i need to get. any help would be much appreciated.

What’s the wattage on your current adapter? Just find a USB C one that has same or higher, and make sure the USB C cable supports PD (Power Delivery)
