Cpu overheating

I recently finished my first waterloop and cleaned it completely with Mayhems blitz 1 and 2. Now after flushing it out and trying too boot the system the cpu reaches over 90 degrees after about 30 secs to a minute in bios. Does anyone know why that could be?

Did you put fresh thermal paste?

Is the pump working?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Then maybe the fins on the cold plate are screwed and not transferring heat very well?

Or the Temp Sensor is busted.

What happens when you try to run Prime95 or something?

The block is new and I can't run prime bcuz it shuts down immediately after booting into windows.

Did you take the sticker off the block if there was one? If the pump is running and there's thermal paste there shouldn't be any issues.

Pictures of your system and more information about parts will be helpful.
