What is better for gaming Q6600 o Xeon E5450 . PLEASE FAST I NEED ANSWER

I already have q6600 and i need better CPU for gaming, Is Xeon e5450 better ?

If i have 50 fps for example on fortnite if i buy E5450 did i get more fps .

I have GTX 1050 2gb 

8 Gb ram

the e5450 is a newer faster chip.

 

there on different sockets though.

I read on google i can put xeon e5450 on 775 socket . E5450 is can put on 771 and 775 socket . But thanks a lot for answer

Nah i have problem for money ...... but i can buy i7 2600k but i dont have money for motherboard .

So probably save up until you can get a more substantial upgrade?

Pretty sure the xeon isn't going to be much faster if the Q6600 has any kind of overclock on it.

I have a x5460 in my HP 775 system. Just requires that you mod the socket a bit and get the adapter to put on the xeon and maybe edit the bios a bit. And if you can get a xeon higher up the chain. 5460, 5470, 5482. As long as the power limit and fsb speeds match what the board can take it usually works.

Dude, you look young and able, it's summer, go use that energy and mow about 3 yards and you will have the cash you need to do something worthwhile.
