Hello everyone I finally found a monitor that suit my needs. Its the newer lg 27uk650 4k monitor with 100% srgb 8+ bit colour.I want it for graphic design, video edit, and gaming(pc+consoles). In my build Im going to have most propably a 1070ti and i aim to game on 2k 60 fps and 4k at 30.If i play on 2k setting on a 4k monitor will the game look bad?all the other needs are filled with this monitor only in gaming im not sure. Thanks!

For a 27" monitor, as long as it's 2560x1440 or higher, it usually doesn't look much worse than a monitor at the native resolution. It'll just look slightly blurred. Anything lower than that and the blurriness starts to become more pronounced.

If that bothers you, you can set the scaling to 1:1, but this obviously creates a black box around the image and it maybe harder to make out finer details.

The game will look identical to how it would look on a 2K monitor. It will look perfectly fine, 2K is 2K.

No they won't, due to interpolation.
