Good Fix lense Compact Camera

- My Budget 600$ (-/+50$)

- My need: all-round photograph (Street/ Landscape/ Portrait/ Lowlight) and the most fun I can get out off!

- My research:

*Ricoh GR II: is a good street camera but its fixed focal length just not my type! even it has an APS-C Sensor size.

*Fujifilm XF10: is like a copy of the Ricoh but with up to date technology, still is a Fixed focal length glass with an APS-C Sensor size.

*Panasonic LX10: Fairly new but only have 1 Inch Sensor with 24mp in that 1 Inch, doesn't sound any good at low light.

- I don't want any camera with interchangeable-lens like the a6000 with 16-50mm 3.5-5.6 or GX85 with 12-32mm 3.5-5.6 or the M50 with 15-45mm 3.5-6.3, just because I want to limit myself

* So there is the Panasonic LX100 left, m4/3 sensor 10.9-34mm 1.7-2.8 but.... quite old and outdated ...!

- Anyone know any new and shiny upcoming Compact camera in 1 or 2 years? or anything else that as good as the LX100 but more up to date?

- BTW can s/o explain why the heck the LX100 get that wide aperture of 1.7 or the company marketing team just miss leading? it's an M4/3 equivalent of F3.4-5.6 with 2x crop but still much wider than those separate lens, or those lenses aperture's numbers already do the crop multiplication? but as I know the aperture writing is base on the lens diameter itself.

You were doing ok until the last part.

You are asking a lot from a P&S camera here. I know you said "you want to limit yourself" but there's a difference between "limiting" and "handicapping"

I'm look into a m4/3 dSLR instead

NOTE: I no longer frequent this site. If you really need help, PM/DM me and my e.mail will alert me.
