should i :o

Go to solution Solved by Crunchy Dragon,

While that is a good board, it doesn't make sense to have your motherboard be the most expensive part of your build.

should i get it just to say i have it :P im making a build and just thought it would be funny plus overkill to have a maximus motherboard with a gtx 1060

Ryzen is still perfectly fine for gaming and is easier to cool and comes with neat tech like StoreMI on X470

buy the i7 8700 with a B360 board instead of the 8600K if you're sticking to coffee lake

what's your monitor resolution/refresh rate? If it's 1080p there's no reason to buy a 1080ti.

if the RX 580 is the same price buy that instead for free-sync savings.

im buying a 144p monitor soon so 1080ti would be better than a 1060 :D and ive thought about ryzen a lot but i prefer intel for gaming and i will be making a ryzen system next year for my media course as ill be using heavy photoshop

As in a 1440p 144hz IPS display? Hope it's a cheaper free-sync version

By the time you buy your 1080ti next gen GPUs are likely to be out anyways.

You can still easily fit a 1070ti in your current build regaurdless
