You should really just build your own, but the Ryzen 7 machine, except why on earth does it have a low end B350 motherboard instead of any X470 motherboard?

And why does it have single channel memory?

and what's the PSU? it's likely crap.

and why does it only have a 1050ti when it's a decently high budget system?

So basically 8600k vs 2700x?

http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i5-8600K-vs-AMD-Ryzen-7-2700X/3941vs3958

Depends if you need 8 cores 16 threads or can deal with having "only" 6 cores 12 threads. If you need cores go AMD if you want better single and quad core performance then go Intel.

i5 12600k | ASRock Z690M-ITX 32GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200MHz | EVGA 2080 Super Black | Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB + 980 1TB | Corsair RMx 650W | Thermaltake Tower 100 White

I'd go with the Intel version. Better motherboard (this is important), better cooling, processor is more or less the same in real-world tasks.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

The 8600K isn't anywhere near the R7 2700X when all cores/threads are being used

and that motherboard only has a 3 or 4 phase VRM, it's closer to a B360 board.

And the cooler is a 92mm one that doesn't really need to be in a full sized system.

Derp, forgot that the 8600K isn't hyperthreaded. There's a class 1 brain fart for you.

My bad, don't usually look at a lot of i5 stuff. My point still stands though, 8600k has better lower core count performance while the 2700x obviously wipes the floor with the 8600k when it comes to multi-core.

Intel will take the most from the 1050ti.

imo the i3 8400 and 1060 is a better deal

also, ryzen will not like the 2400mhz ram as much as the Intel (performance wise)

Intel is better for gaming,

ryzen for "basically" everything else

try see if you can lower your cpu to the i3 8XXX and use the saved money on at least a 1060 3gb (but the 6gb is far superior)

With that tier of GPU there isn't going to be much of a difference in with the CPU, you need a 1080ti to really bring out the difference.

Building it yourself with an RX 570/580 and like an R5 2600

The R7 2700X is just the better CPU overall and is the easy choice between those 2.

Hold on, what's your budget? And you're in the UK?

You can probably fix the CyberPower PC so it's less bad

PM me your e-mail so I can send you a customized PC from them
