RAM crashes pc at 10gb

So when I use my pc and it reaches 10gb ram usage it just crashes/stops some applications. I'm not sure why because I have 16gb, also I am using Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Chrome when it crashes.

My specs

I7 6700

GTX 1060 3gb

16gb Ram

Something is overheating. Any overclocks? What are your temps?

Get and run Memtest86 to see if your memory is failing or your timings are too tight.

I got no errors, but I only tested after I turned Virtual memory/page file after it prompted me to. The page file is on my main drive/ssd is that a bad thing

Realistically, no.

Having no page file will cause errors in some programs as well as some drivers.

What kind of errors? Also does it do anything to the SSD long term?

Bluescreens of a few varieties as well as out of memory errors.

It adds a bit to total daily writes, but that is it.

Nope using a stable version that hasn't had any issues in the past
