I find myself every day convincing myself I do not need to upgrade my 970 xD This makes it rather difficult.

Don't upgrade to 1070 from a 970.

50% better. In terms of GPU generations, that's not that much. Nearly the same difference as between 1060 3GB vs 1070. Is it really worth it? I don't think so.

EVGA's ebay store has the 1080 for $450 + the destiny game pack. But I think ebay links are prohibited even for official stores so I won't post it. Just sayin' that for $30 it makes this a not so great deal. :)
