Which 1070

iam building a new pc and i found two deals on a gtx 1070: Inno3d Ichill 4 1070 8gb and Gigabyte GeForce® GTX 1070 G1 Gaming 8G. both are €300 and i want to know wich one has the best cooling performance. thanks in advance, Vincent coucke

Just get whichever has the bigger/fatter cooler

Go for the Gigabyte one since they are well known and their cooling for their GPU's is really good!

Is the ichill card better because it's a 2.5 slot or doesn't that affect anything??

If the heatsink is actually larger it'll cool better.

2 year old GPU for €300? wait a month to see if announcement of new cards and get 1160 or 1170.

I'd get the GIgabyte one, but I agree with @Jaggsta - at this point I would wait for the new cards to come out.

 

Side Note: I really like the ASUS Strix line of graphics cards.
