DDR4-3000 CAS 15 vs DDR4-3200 CAS 16

Based on those two specs, the speed is the same.  Just get the cheaper one.

Title says it. Which is better for gaming,overclocking and 4k video production. Both are G.SKILL trident z RGB Sticks.

What are all the timing numbers? And for which type system are you buying it for?

Increased cas latency negates increased ram frequency.

If it's Intel then buy that cheaper kit.

 

If it's AMD buy the best Samsung b-die kit you can afford. And neither of those kits are Samsung b-die. Samsung b-die at those two speeds have the sam CAS numbers across the board. So 16-16-16-36 for example. Use the following link to help you check kits:
