Intel core i5 8600 or 8600k ?

So I've been thinking about upgrading my old i7 3820 to a new i5. But I can't decide if I should buy the 8600 or the 8600k

I primarily just want to play new games with it (Far Cry 5 etc.)  and don't want to oc. Is the higher performance of the 8600k worth buying a cooler for it, or would it be better to just go with the 8600?

Just go with the 8400 or 8700, others are not worth it.

If you are willing to overclock don't even get the 8400, get the R5 2600.

8600k are very good, OCed they can outperform a 8700.
