Depending on where you live one of these NVMe M.2 drives will work great and likely be within budget.

Each of the following 4 NVMe SSDs bench in the same ballpark as the 970 Evo 250 GB at a !generally!  lower  price point while being capacity peers.

http://ssd.userbenchmark.com/SpeedTest/480586/ADATA-SX8200NP - outperforms it by around 5%

http://ssd.userbenchmark.com/SpeedTest/482421/WDS250G2X0C-00L350 - nearly the samehttp://ssd.userbenchmark.com/SpeedTest/515464/MKNSSDPL250GB-D8 - ~90%

http://ssd.userbenchmark.com/SpeedTest/211350/BPX - pretty much the same as the Mushkin pilot.

They also all compete relatively close to the 970 Evo at 500GB range.

For 2.5" The top performers are

and

Since you got a b150, save and go for the 7700 instead of the 7700k. they are on ebay around $250 at this time, so it wouldn't be a terrible idea. Just make sure to get proper cooling, instead of stock intel heat sink.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

depends on budget. with a good cooler, you can get higher turbo frequencies, but something cheap like the hyper 212 evo or low profile like the cryorig c7 will do just fine.
