File transfers are not working right win7

McJayger

I have been torrenting movies on my phone and transferring them to my desktop hard drive for some time now because I have no internet for right now, recently while transferring a mp4 file the transfer will complete but only a portion of the file is on my desktop, (this has become a pattern) I have no idea what is causing it and searching google for this problem didn't give me an answer, for clarity I'm transferring from an android phone running kitkat to a pc running windows 7 professional the full file should be 1.85 gb but when I click properties the file is listed at 718 mb

A workaround would be to put the file on an SD card using your phone, then plug the SD card into your computer.

I would love to do that but my desktop has no sd card slot or wireless/bluetooth card so my only option is to use a micro usb cable for the moment I just want to know why this problem is happening it seems completely random
