They're both really solid units and I would probably go with whichever one you prefer the aesthetic of. They are both well built and have 7-year warranties.

Thanks for help guys, I have another off topic question if anyone can help. Corsair has taken my defective CX750M and CX500M under warranty (sold 2014) and I believe they are sending me the newer models, not 100% sure. I've left all the cables in the case and was hoping the replacements they send have the same pinout. Do the new versions use the same cables?
