JUST ASKING!!!! WHAT SAW ON YOUTUBE and EEVBLOG

 

Is it possible to use gpu for 10+ years by installing aio cooler on main ic and heatsink on power parts .

I also saw on eevblog that by (theory) every 5°c drop in temp life of components increase by 4x!!!!!

So by aio it drop atlest by 10°c so it is possible to use gpu like 1070/80 for 10+ years.

    JUST ASKING!!!!!!!!

You can use a GPU for 10+ years. Them failing is very random and is often not the GPU itself. As long as the card is not hammering the thermal limit it should be fine. Though im quite shure that GPU wont be performing well in games in 10years time due to new featuresets and architectures

If you take amazing care of the card it'll live forever. (Until some spectacular fail occurs).

^ this. had a friend use one since 2 years ago. Don't see why you would care about something lasting 10 years though. Sounds like an igpu use scenario.

If you take care of the temps it'll last 10 years very easily. The site is talking crap about 5C meaning 4x higher lifespan though...

I had a GT 6600 last over 10 years. Had to replace the Chinese counterfeit caps after they blew but it came right back and kept on sucking for years to come.
