Buy it now, because there's rarely any reason to upgrade an ipad in the first place.  I'm still on my original ipad pro.

I can get a great discount on the ipad pro, and also get a free pair of beats earbuds. Should I buy now or is it worth the wait.

If you need it right now, then get it, but if you could go a while without it then wait. The next iPads may receive a similar design to the iPhone X, we just don't know yet.

An iPad Pro isn't that old. The only reason why my iPad Mini stays home now is because it was essentially a glorified iPhone 4S which by now cannot keep up with much.

What model and what kind of discount are we talking about?

 

Since it will probably be significantly cheaper than the upcoming iPad Pro 3rd gen (and one of the biggest changes was the 120 Hz Display), you can go for it, if the Price is right.

 

Even if it's over a year old, it's still by far the fastest Tablet out there - also beating many Windows Notebooks below several hundreds of euro.

This iPad Pro will still be a beast in 3 years from now.
