'Rent a pc' with Shadow?

Today I watched an interesting video on the new 'Shadow' technology. For £30 quid a month you can rent a 8 core 12gb ram 1080 virtiual pc and connect to it using a dumb client with next to no lag (supposedly) 

 

I think you guys should check it out, the concept has been around for some time with Citrix or other virtualisation software however they are specifically targeting the gaming market and promoting no lag... is this the death of the pc?

Looks like a Nvidia Geforce Now clone. Might be worth it if you can run normal server software on it. I wonder how much they overprovision...
