I will be doing walkthroughs, lets play's and all other kinds of voice overs on YouTube and on Twitch. My max budget is $260. I prefer closed headphones. Will onboard and the Yeti headphone gain be enough to power all them ohms (I would get the 80ohm version, but this one is significantly cheaper)? Is there a better choice for this price range? I am a quiet talker, so a mic with gain, or that is sensitive would be nice (the yeti has a bit of both). I dont know if this impacts the decision, but I also listen to a lot of progressive metal and classical music (its a weird mix, but its my cup of tea) and I watch lots of streaming. .

I'd hesitate to say yes.

Off topic, but is a pop filter worth the extra $10?

I had no idea what I was talking about in the OP. I pulled a dumbass, and confused open with closed. I prefer open. So replace the 770's with 250ohm 990's or 880's (havent decided yet). Would they still be powered fine?

The 770, 880, and 990 are all the same thing but for the enclosure.

OK. I use closed headphones currently, and after watching the TechQuickie video, I am thinking about making the jump. I dont care if other people can hear me, as I will only use them in the house an on say a long roadtrip. Is the open-ness that much of a change, and how much better does the 'stage sound' sound, than the 'head sound' sound?
