GTX 970 4GB

I live in Toronto, Canada. I found an ad of Kijiji for an EVGA SC Nvidia Geforce 970 for $195. Is this a good deal? Keep in mind it is CND. If it is not a good price, what would be a suitable one?

It's around 10-15% slowerr than a GTX 1060 6gb, GTX 980 4gb, or RX 480/580 8gb.

 

What are the prices of those? (new and used).

 

Especially GTX 1060 6gb. Take a new/used Price of this, take like 25-30% off, that's the Price i would pay for the GTX 970.

 

honestly, i would really pay 15-20% more, if you can get a GTX 1060 for it:

- Consumes less power. 120w only~

- Deslivers 15% more performance, around GTX 980 performance

- has 6gb vram instead 3.5gb

- Newer architecture = better optimization for newer Games.

 

If you can get the GTX 970 for half the price of a new 1060 6gb~, then it would be a solid deal.

$195CAD. How much are new 1060s going for up there? Because I'm sure it's markedly higher than that 970.

I'd jump at it. Most of the 970s around have decent OC potential.
