Video recording and editing software?

Might as well just start out with OBS and try out DaVinci Resolve. Resolve has a hell of a learning curve but it's a nice piece of software, especially considering you get it for free.

Davicni Resolve, and if you have an nvidia card use Shadowplay/share.

 

But...

Honestly i wouldnt really start a Youtube Channel for gaming at this point, coming from someone whos been doing it for 3 years. If your doing it for fun then maybe? But do know that it will take away from your time in gaming, and if you want to even TRY to grow you HAVE to know people/channels that can help promote you.

 

Otherwise its pretty much a lost amount of time that you will not get back, you can spend hours editing if you have a ton of footage, and know its going to take a HUGE investment in time and effort just to get off the ground, and even THEN you may not get anywhere.
