Hey Guys!

First of all, sorry for my bad english!

I want to ask your help, I just bought a new SAPPHIRE PULSE Radeon™ RX 560 4GD5 (11267-18) gpu, and when im build it into my pc, and start it, nothing happens, blackscreen and no sound, etc.

My previous gpu was a HD 5750 1GB with the same 6pin connection and power consuption (75W). I have a 500W psu and for both gpu the recommended is 400W. My motherboard is a Intel® Desktop Board DH77EB and my cpu is a i5 3470 with 2x4gb 1600mhz ram.
My monitor have only a VGA connection so i bought a HDMI -> VGA passive adapter which works well with my previous HD 5750 gpu. I updated the gpu drivers already and its not solved the problem.

What could be the problem? The new card maybe broken?

Thanks for your help!

Put the old video card back in and boot the system.

If it boots fine, then shut it down, and swap cards, ensuring the new card is firmly plugged in and powered.

Turn on PC, see what happens.

If it doesn't display video, then yeah, it's likely to be a bad video card.

And your English is fine

Make sure your BIOS is up-to-date. GPU incompatibility is a thing with these older Sandy and Ivy boards.

I have done it. I just put back the old vga and its worked normally, i have swap the cards like 4 times:D and always the same, old works new only black screen with both hdmi adapter to monitor or hdmi/hdmi cable to the tv.

Then i have to return the card probably.

As others have said, ensure your BIOS is up to date. I've never run across this issue where the BIOS is affecting GPU compatibility, but it's not out of the realm of possibility.

Alternately, take the new card to a computer shop and have them boot a system with it. If it doesn't work, then you know. If it does, your problem lies elsewhere
