Best picture 4k monitor with decent gaming specs

Daniel_1104

So I really enjoy good picture quality and want a 4k monitor with good quality to game on, So I want some decent specs like 5ms response or around that (Which is why I don’t use a TV). High refresh rate is nice but I don’t really need it because i’m 50/50 with ps4 and PC and the ps4 is only 60fps so i’m not too concerned. So what monitor has the best picture quality and is 4k with decent gaming specs? I’m looking at the LG 27 850w atm.

I use a LG 32UD59-B 32". I got it at newegg for only $354.00 US.

It replaced my 28" UE590 4k monitor. The current version of it is the U28E590D. It is a TN panel with a 1ms response time.

I replaced the UE590 because 28" is too small for 4k. At that size it is better to go 1440.

Even the LG 32UD59-B at 32" is a bit on the small side for 4k. 32". It is the best size for normal distance viewing. The ideal size for 4k is 42". The desk that I use now is only 24" deep so I need a desk upgrade before I can go larger with 4k.

My advice is don't spend a lot of money for one. In 2015 I paid $500.00 for the UE590. The new version is $370.00.

It is not like I don't spend money on monitors. My 3440 X1440 monitor on my widescreen rig cost $800.00. It is just not worth paying a lot of money for 60hz, unless the monitor is 42" or larger.

Don't get one if you have less than a GTX 1070. You need a GTX 1080 ti for 60fps gaming at settings that look better than 1440 ultra.

Idk but I can tell the difference in games very easily in 4k. I got a 4k laptop and I can tell the difference on a 15.6 inch screen, so i’m guessing it will be the same on the 27inch. Also most of my stuff is 4k ready and I just want to get into it properly really
