Smartphone Suggestion

Since my Smartphone got lost in the mail after repair I need a new one asap. I did not expect this, so I am not caught up on the current ones. I had a Galaxy S7 before and if not convinced otherwise I'd buy the S8.

It has to have these features:

• Current Android OS (8.0 or higher) or soon to be updated
• SD Card slot
• min. 32Gig internal memory
• Fingerprint reader
• Glass display
• between 5" and 6"

Nice to have:

• large battery
• good software support from the manufacturer 
• I liked the OLED, but I can live without
• sub 400$ (I do not have a hard budget but it is an unexpected expense)

Usecase:

• Listening to music / watching videos
• NOT used for gaming (at all)
• Quickly switch between utility apps (calender, whatsapp etc). I hate for the phone to be slow on these tasks.

I'm thankful for any advice.

like which one? The Pixel does not have a SD-Slot so it does not work for me.

No idea how much does it cost where you are but Nokia 7 Plus is a great phone

thanks, I'll consider it. I read it has bad speakers, Do you agree with that? The price is fine, that would be no issue.

Yes, I do use them in bed / in the kitchen etc. They do not have to be great, I have bluetooth speakers if necessary.

No idea, you can watch lots of reviews of it on YouTube before purchasing. Also there are speaker tests.

I would try to contact the mail service and get your phone back, or contact the repairer if they took it.

I did that. The transport was ensured so I'll get some money from the mail service (DHL), but it will take a while. It somehow got "lost" on the last transport to my home.
