Graphics Card Prices

The GTX 1070 ti is currently only $450 for the founders edition on Nvidia’s website. It also has free shipping and it is not taxed. This seems like a really good deal considering the cheapest 1070 ti on amazon is $20 more and I have to pay tax. Should I go ahead and buy the card from nvidia right now or will it be worth it to wait for these predicted price drops?

I would honestly only recommend the founders editions of any Nvidia card if you plan to water cool it. Otherwise, its worth it to spend 20-40$ more on the upgraded cooling of the card.

After owning a few different founders\reference cards I would gladly pay far more than $20 for a cooler that doesn't sound like it's trying to hover around my office.

Founders edition cards run hot, so spending the extra 20 dollars or more is worth it for the thermals, as well as the boost clock from the cooler thermals.

hi.
