Hi guys my friend has a i3 3220 and has $200 - $250 too spend on a GPU upgade he was thinking of the GTX 760 but is scared it will bottleneck. If it would what do you suggest he gets ?

Of course it will bottleneck, but go for it anyways. It's not going to be too substantial, and he can always get an i5 in the future.

in crysis 3 and bf multi he would see a small bottleneck but other games...pshh he should buy it

go for the 760. the bottleneck will only be by 5-10 fps in most cases

A new gpu will /feel/ like you actually upgraded something, bottle neck or not. If you spent that cash on upgrading the cpu with the same gpu, it wouldn't feel very different same post upgrade.
