Hello!

After watching Linus's video of the value AMD PC (http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/93413-december-26th-ultimate-amd-value-apu-pc-build-guide/) I decided to build a similar PC for my mom. I made some changes due to certain stuff being unavailable in my country, so here it is:

APU: AMD APU A10-6790K

MOBO: Gigabyte GA-F2A88X-D3H

RAM: Kingston HyperX Black 8GB (single stick)

HDD: WD Black 3.5'' 1TB SATA3

SSD: Adata XPG SX900 128GB

PSU: Corsair CX 430W (modular)

CASE: Fractal Design Core 3000

Monitor: LG 24EA53VQ

I would appreciate some suggestions regarding this build. I am not sure about my monitor choice as well as not including the GPU (R7 260X) as it becomes too expensive and opted on a SSD instead. Also I would like to replace the stock heatsink with CM Hyper 212 EVO unless it won't provide any benefit (also not sure if it is compatible with FM2+).

Usage description: web browsing, MS office, skype chat, watching 1080p, maybe some flash based games.

Thanks!

I will not provide a budget as prices differ a lot from US or CAN. More or less based on the given component list.

What components we'd recommend depend on the pricing.

Where are you shopping/located? Budget?
