Add an SSD and get a better cooler to overclock the CPU even further , A member of our forum has made a Member revieuw stating that a 750K @ 4.5GHZ is the same performance as FX-6300 Basically. Also save some more cash and get a R9 290

With this you still have some money left over aswell. The power supply may be more than required and maybe overkill but has the ability to get dedicated graphics in the future,

that would be a decrease in power his build right now would beat a 6800k

I don't think he wants a whole new computer, just an upgrade to his current one. Cool $400 gaming rig none the less.

Get a platform upgrade to a 990fx mobo that supports crossfire along with a 6300 and a new power supply that would support another 7850 and if you have enough money get another 7850.

Upgrade your cpu and mobo to a 990FX and get a FX6300, the gpu is decent. You could also get a sdd to that.

I'm seeing plenty of 6300 suggestions, So that's most definitely covered. I'm going to suggest you keep you current CPU, but up your motherboard so that when kaveri comes out you can jump right on it.

my upgrade suggestion is a beefier PSU, a better case, a board that will support kaveri, and a second GPU.

The athlon X4 750K can hold its own just fine until kaveri comes out, at which point, after you sell your old PSU & board, you could buy the cheapest K series quad core kaveri. ( I belive it is to be called the A8-7570K)
