I've been facing this issue for a while now...

Every now and then my computer locks up and I have to wait around 1-2 mins for it to start responding, sometimes it just locks up Youtube and freezes the video then black screens and resets it to a lower resolution or sometimes that locks up everything, I think its Chrome but I also have a lot of other things and programs...I've tried to do a reset and KEEP files and stuff etc.. but none of that works, I tried a lot of things even contacting Microsoft... anyone know if its a simple issue? could it be a bad SSD?  I'm going to be looking into a 5tb wd/seagate backup drive and backup then reinstall windows and grab any old files I need from the backup drive, would that work?

You can check your drive health using crystaldiskinfo.

A reset is not the same thing as a clean install, so it's possible a clean install will fix it.
