Ok first let me say this. I am not buying everything right now and might not buy anything for a few months.

I also am debating 2 things. Should I buy a prebuilt system from somewhere like I buy Power or build it myself (my current build is self built)

I am delaying on looking at CPUs and GPUs untill a later date because I won't have the cash for them untill later. So what I was looking at for now is just a Case and Fans/Coolers, Motherboard, PSU, Ram, and Possibly the Hard Drive.

I am trying for a Green Build. My first PC was Red my current one is blue.

This is what I have so far that I was thinking about.

Raidmax - Viper GX ATX Mid Tower Case

Asus - PRIME X299-A ATX LGA2066 Motherboard

Still looking at Coolers/Fans Suggestions would be helpfull

Ram I want 32GB of some Ram that will go good with the color Green. ( I plan to play games but also host small 2 to 5 man servers on my machine for me and my friends)

EVGA - SuperNOVA G3 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

As for the Storage I was wondering if I should go SSD/Hard Drive or just a Large SSD. and if I do go the Dual SSD/ HD how large should I make the SSD? I was thinking 250+ was OK as that would let me store games I want to play quicker on the SSD while a 2TB HD would cover the stuff that is ok otherwise.

GPU and CPU are gonna be looked at later as I have read they are gonna be coming out with new ones in the next few months.

What do you need your PC for and what is your budget/country?

And what monitor resolution/refresh rate for gaming if any?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

I was thinking of a I7 actually. Not going TOP of the line GPU was likely gonna wait for the next batch of GPUs to hit from Nvidia which I hear they should be out near the end of this year early next year so I was gonna go with a 1080 when the new ones come out as they should drop a decent amount when the new ones hit.

Its a Gaming PC in the US. As for my Budget I really am trying to stay below 2k but I know CPU and GPU will push that boundry a good bit.

And I have No idea on the Resolution I am gonna go with a Dual Monitor Setup I have to buy them as well.

What sort of frame rate are you wishing to target?
