You can use 2666 and 2133 ram on a i5. The 2666 is just the manufacture suggested speed where things are fine

Firestrike
i7-8700k @5.0GHz w/ 1.30v, Corsair h100iv2, Gigabye Aorus gaming 7, 16GB(8x2) 2666MHz ddr4, Dual RX470's OC'd to 1390mhz(atm) in corssfire - liguid cooled with corsair h60's, 3.25 TB in Samsung SSD's, anidees white crystal cube case

Retired:
i5-4440k @3.2GHz, gigabyte ga-z87x-ud5h z87, 24GB DDR3, 3x1TB Seagate Baracuda HDD.

so, that means i would get less performance?

The G4560 and i5 8500 don't run on the same motherboards, so you couldn't upgrade that PC without changing out the motherboard.

Alternatives to the 8500 would be the i5 7600(K), 7500 or if you are willing to go second hand you might find an i7 7700(K) for decent prices.

These CPU's I mentioned support up to 2400Mhz but will work fine with 2133Mhz memory too.

im not a dummie first of all , obviosly im changing the motherboard ..... Im just courious about the RAM , its cheaper for me to buy a new motherboard and a i5 8500 than buying a i7 7700, the performances are almost the same.

We sometimes have people on here that want to put AMD CPU's in their Intel motherboards, I can never be careful enough in giving 'warnings' to others!

But yeah, if the price for you will be the same between the 8500 and 7700 (including motherboard costs), the 8500 would definitely be worth it.

The performance difference between 2133Mhz memory and 2666Mhz+ memory on Intel based systems is not as huge as on AMD systems. I have seen some benchmarks show up to 10% difference between those memory scenarios, but other games with 'lower' GPU's weren't as big of differences.
