Galaxy S7 won't turn on.

Hello, 

 

I have an almost brand new Samsung Galaxy S7. One day it turned off and wouldn't turn back on. I have followed all of the"tips" I could find online. Took it apart and everything was connected and put it back together again. When plugged in to a charger there are no notification lights and the screen is blank. Power button does nothing when pressed. If you put it on a wireless charger the charger does redact and says it's charged. I have a new phone but was trying to fix this for a friend in desperate need of an upgrade. Is there any hope?
