Atx12v 4 pin

I am doing up a old socket 945 motherboard but pc won’t past boot when atx12v is unplugged but when it’s pluged it it turns on for 5 seconds then shuts down have replaced the power surply but still nothing please help

Possibly an issue with the motherboard causing a short circuit, is the psu tested with other motherboards?

The psu was tested and was working good I tryed with a mother psu. With a slightly higher wattage (50 watts more) but still the same problem
